To begin the training:
· Click on the “My Learning Tab”
· You will see the Course Group Name: OSHA 10-hour; click on the + sign in front of the wording.
· This will open a section where it shows the “Course Name” of “Introduction A” and click on “Enroll” in the Action Section. Introduction A will give you a brief introduction on how to use the training system. Once you complete this lesson, you will be allowed access into the first lesson, "Introduction to OSHA".
· It will then ask you: “Would you like to enroll in this course?” and click on “Yes”
· This will then bring you to back to the screen and under “Action” click on “Start”
· Your course will then load up for you to start.
· FULLY read each page prior to clicking on “Next” or “Continue”
· The screens are timed so that you cannot immediately click on Next or Continue until some time has passed to allow you to read the screen. Please make sure that the screen has fully loaded prior to clicking "Next".
· The Exit button in the top right of the screen will immediately end the course for you BUT if you had not finished the lesson, you will have to restart it as it does not save your place. I recommend completing each lesson prior to leaving the training.
· There is a Pause button on the bottom should you need to pause the presentation BUT it will time you out if you have no activity for 20 minutes. If you leave your training on, your session will time you out if you have no activity and you will be forced to start that lesson over.
· The Back and Next tab at the top left of the screen will not take you to the next screen; it is more of an internal item that they will be disabling for us soon as it just confuses the situation.
· I will be notified whenever anyone enrolls or completes a lesson and/or the course.
· Each lesson has a 10-question quiz that you must take prior to starting another lesson. If you fail a quiz, you will have the ability to retake it up to 3 times.
After you finish taking each quiz, click "Save, Complete Assessment" and then click "OK". The course you just took will start to reappear; click "Exit" at the top right hand corner and then go to "Courses" to take the next lesson.
In order to retake the quiz if you did not pass it the first time, go to the "Courses" tab under "My Learning" and click on "Retake" in the "Assessment" section for the course that you failed the quiz on.
Once you have successfully completed the quiz, your next course will show up under the "Courses" tab under "My Learning". Just click "Start" in order to proceed with the next lesson.
You MUST VIEW THE WHOLE LESSON PRIOR TO TAKING THE QUIZ you do not view the whole lesson, I will know about it by the time it took you to take the lesson. The system tells me how long it takes everyone to complete a lesson. It is MANDATORY THAT YOU VIEW THE WHOLE LESSON.
· After you complete all lessons and quizzes, it will take you to the final quiz and survey and then a final certificate for the course. You will also receive your Course Completion card in 4 to 6 weeks.
* If you wish to, you can click "Control P" and you will receive a print screen for that page.
